There’s no doubt everyone needs a little push, either it’s with motivational words, useful pieces of advice or motivated people to stay motivated. It’s a bit logical to note that once motivated people or positive spoken words diminish, there will be a telltale of it in your life.

It’s so easy for an overworked brain to think negatively at times. Sometimes, all we need is a quiet moment of clarity, where we channel positive thoughts to our inner spirit. John Eccles discovered that by speaking positive words out loud, the brain’s area responsible for movement speeds to action. Over the years, other researchers have continued to prove this fact.

Motivational words, actions, and motivated people play a unique role in our lives. The impact of motivational words and prayers cannot be undermined. Have you ever met a highly successful person and wonder how they got that far? I know it might seem weird, but we couldn’t help but think about it sometimes.

You see, those little things we overlook, things like speaking positive words of affirmation into our lives, are essential. I’ll highlight some of the best motivational words to uplift you and have a positive impact on your life. But before then, let’s take a look at Tade’s story.

Why you should always affirm positive things to yourself.

The rat hurriedly moved to the other side as the homeowner settled on a chair.

Tade sat penniless in his rat-infested room with his soaked garri in front of him. For years, he had tried, stopped Midway, and failed at every attempt to make a successful living.
A few minutes earlier, his landlord walked in, pushing Tade’s old, Haggard, and weak door aside. The man wrinkled his nose at Tade’s sight showing his utter disgust. ‘Mr man,’ he began saying, ‘ staring disgustingly at the garri Tade was about to consume. ‘you’re advised to vacate this compound before the next 24hours. I think I have given you more than enough time and grace.’ The man said as he strolled out of the room, not waiting to hear anything Tade might want to say.
‘I am a failure.’ Tade cried out, putting his hands over his head. This has been his mantra since forever. And time and time again, he has proven to be a failure.
The whole situation seems terrible, right?
But is he a failure?

Most times, we unconsciously affirm negative things into our lives, thereby breeding failure and negativity. No one has it all figured out. Move closer to that wealthy man; you’ll realize he also has his silent battles. While some struggles are evident, some battles are silent but draining. We are all wanderers seeking refuge in the world.
